Hey y'all... it's my Queen big day today. Yes, it's a big scary pandemic in our lives but she needs to be celebrated for being who she is. My mom, man I can say so much about this lady but that would take a life time. I'm the only child and her love child. Having me at 18 with her love interest, her high school sweetheart was the height of her teenage life. My mom was not just any girl next door but THE girl next door. Stories of my dad having to fight the neighborhood boys who already had my mom on their list of " gotta get that one" on their mind. Well just know, my dad won and history was made, HERE SHE IS. Me!
Today was challenging due to the fact that I'm pretty much a hat changer. Yes, that's when you put on a hat for the many positions you carry in life. I'm just thinking about how can I make her bday wonderful during this crazy situation we're in. Well, my mom is so HUMBLE in her own kind of a way. Sooo...she tells me don't worry about it, not much to do anyways. Oh NO! I'm not letting that stop me from appreciating my Queen. So with every other thing I have to do this busy day, I quickly thought of ideals for the occasion. Cake & ice cream- Ck | Take out breakfast -Ck | Gift - already had it. I sometimes feel sorry for her at times because she only had one child to give her the love she deserves on this day and I really try doing my best as the only one. Well....she absolutely loved her day and her gifts. She says next year she'll rock this planet off it's axis...lol. I can't wait to see that. Yes, this lady can be hilarious too.
So at the end of the day and wondering if I could've done more even with this pandemic, I'm just thinking, IF I did enough??
